Cycle irregularity after retrieval, waiting to start FET

My egg retrieval was Sept 3, and we had to freeze all. When my period came about 10 days later, unfortunately I had a big follicle producing estrogen (not sure if it was coming or going...) so they told me I had to ride out this cycle and wait for next month. I was not prepared for that disappointment. Took it hard.

So that first period was so short! Only bled for a couple days. Strange but whatever. Now I’m waiting for ovulation (to get an idea of when my start day will be), and I can’t get a positive opk! CD 18 and it’s just now getting darker—a few days late for me. What are my ovaries taking a vacation or something? Can we please get with the program? I’m so sick and tired of waiting 😕

Has anyone experienced and delays or irregularity in the cycle(s) after retrieval, and did everything eventually work out? I have five embabies waiting for momma.
