Interesting situation with names! Opinions please 💙

Ok quick background:

I have a son and daughter from a previous marriage. Daughter is 6 and son is 8. My sons name is Austin William (first and middle)

Now I am pregnant with another boy, different relationship. His first name will be Edward, as the tradition is Edward for the first name but he will primarily be called by his middle name.

My SO really wants William as it’s his great grandfathers name which he really looked up to. And my first sons middle name is that because it’s a family name of mine as well. So double the special meaning.

My plan is to ask my son his feelings on sharing something special with his little brother and being ok with having the same middle name.

What does everyone else think??
