Can you check gender with vaginal u/s at 17 weeks??

Has anyone had a vaginal ultrasound around 17 weeks? My last son was born at 28 weeks so they are checking my cervix, my anatomy scan will still be 3 weeks out and I was wondering if they could check the gender with a vaginal u/s

Yes but at 17 weeks vaginally what they see of the baby is smaller because of it moving up, its more for them to check cervix length but if they get right shot you would be able to see

I just had a vaginal ultrasound at 17 weeks exactly and they offered to share the gender. So maybe it was the position, but from my understanding they can tell at 16 weeks.
