Is it just me or do other EBF moms feel subtle pressure from other people (particularly older ish women) about stopping breast feeding? I get occasional comments like “is he still breastfeeding?” “Have you weaned him yet?” “Still nursing?” “Oh it’ll be good once he is weaned then he won’t miss you as much...etc”

I’m like what the world? None of the comments were rude or anything but I bet a feeling that even EBF women feel ashamed of breastfeeding past a year. Like what’s wrong with going past a year?? It’s amazing we made it this far. Each momma weans when they feel they should. Nooo judgment here! Just wondering if any other mommas feel this way about extended breastfeeding. Thanks!
