you guys won’t believe this

so my sister and her husband took a break for 3 months this summer and got back together and decided to renew their vows and have a whole wedding that’s fine except she chose my baby’s birth month to do it which has been know 3 months prior to them planning this wedding my baby’s father is not in our lives and i’m also a first time mom so my mother is more than willing to be there the first week to help me and i’m so thankful except now my sister is upset because she found out that my mom may not be able to go because of the birth of her grandchild also the fact that she works and this is what my sister said to me

so please tell me if i’m being selfish when it’s really not my decision if my mom goes or not in the end that’s up to her so whether she stays and helps me or goes to the wedding is not up to me nor did i convince my mother to stay

edit: she is now blocked if anyone is curious about her saying i’m making my parents pay for my birth that is not true at all my moms insurance from work doesn’t cover prenatal care or labor and delivery for some reason and they make too much so we got denied medicaid and chip i argued with my baby’s father for many days about this and it was just getting nasty so my parents offered to help so i could stop dealing with him but they are only helping not paying for all of it and i would never expect them to and i have never asked
