When did you have your baby name picked out?

I’m trying to decide when we need an official name set.

After birth for both bbies. We had a top 3-4 by due date and waited til they were born. 
I always felt like I couldn't name someone I hadn't met before. 
💕 There's no right or wrong time.

After birth?? 😂 we narrowed it down to two at 38 weeks and waited until we saw their face.

There's no specific point that you need to have a name picked out (besides before you leave the hospital with you're new one!) With my son it took us 6 months to agree on a name, we talked about a boy's name from the day we found out we were pregnant and just couldn't agree. But we've had our daughters name picked out for almost 8 years now. Take your time, a lot of people don't decide on names until they meet the baby

We had names for both genders for all scenarios down to hair color and were waiting to name them when they were born. But as soon as we found out he was a boy we started thinking and all our boy names are now so common. We have found his name and it fits him so perfectly already. I am only 21weeks.

We haven’t conceived yet... we have narrowed boy names down to our top 3, which honestly wasn’t too difficult for us! Girl names we’re struggling with so hard which sucks because we both are really hoping for a girl 😂 We have a list of a dozen or so names but there’s none that we’re super set on yet...
Hopefully we’ll be able to narrow girl names down a bit more and will do that during pregnancy if we find out we’re having a girl... but we don’t plan to pick a name for sure though until after the baby is born so we can make sure the name fits when we meet him/her!
