Sibling being allowed in delivery room?

Question

Any parents who have experience with giving birth with one of their children in the room? I know it’s not ideal, but husband and I will be moving and wouldn’t have anyone we’d trust to watch our 4yo. I’m pregnant with 2nd and was wondering if it’s out of the norm. Husband and daughter could wait outside, I don’t mind. But he wants to be in the room lol

My children are 8 and 10 and they are not allowed in the delivery room :( most hospitals don't allow it in the even something goes wrong.

My 5 year old will be in the delivery room. Depends on your hospital. We don’t have anyone to watch him either.

Darn, thats a dilemma. When are you due? Maybe you can be close with a neighbor and have them sit in the waiting room with your little one when its time to push. I'll also be in this same dilemma but lucky for me not moving away from family and can use them. Or maybe use facebook and find a potential nanny to sit in the waiting room.
