Red Hair gone wrong

I went to the salon looking for a warm auburn color for fall and stead got Ariel Red!!

I hate it! I don't think it goes with my skin color and it is not what I wanted at all. Plus it cost $100. In the soft light of the salon, it didn't look bar, hence why I didn't say anything and paid. When I got into the sunlight I realized just how red it is.

Should I go back to the salon? Go to a different salon? Wait until it fades on its own? Or try to tone it down myself at home?
