When did you start your period

I recently had a c section and am just wondering how long it was before you started your period. I had a miscarriage on January 7 and started my period February 8. So about a month. I had a c section on August 28 and have not started yet. We have had sex and have tried to be as careful as possible but my doctor wouldn't put me on birth control until I came in for my 6 week checkup. I took a pregnancy test today and looks negative just worried.

You can ovulate without a return of your period after you have a baby. 
Your test looks negative, but I would test again 2w-3w after unprotected sex just to be sure.

I had a csection in June and didnt get my period till September. But I personally do not see a line on your pregnancy test
