Supposedly 18 weeks 4 days according to EDD. I have been having extreme cramping since Thursday for which I called the doctor early Friday am and ended up in the ER for further evaluation. No bleeding thank goodness, but the cramping was so intense I couldn’t just deep breathe through it any longer.

After 4 hours in the ER and an hour long ultrasound later, it was determined I have 5, count them, 5 fibroids of which could be causing the immense amount of pain. Daughter is doing well, thank goodness. Will need to f/u with OB.

I’ve been taking Tylenol extra strength, deep breathing, and using a heating pad, but the relief is only temporary.

I realize I’m carrying life and what a blessing this is, but I can’t help but feel so down and weak. I’m not even half way! How will I handle the birth?! My partner has been super supportive, but he can only empathize so far.

I just needed a safe place to express my thoughts and frustrations. I must go now, a cramp is coming on...
