Probably a stupid question.

We had scans today (21 weeks) and saw that baby was laying with his head near the cervix. No dilation or anything worrying, but is it normal for baby to settle near the cervix?

I’m trying to find anything on this, but haven’t found any answers.

I know I’m probably worrying over nothing as this will be our first child, but wanted to know. In other scans he had been all over the place. I guess I was worried he may hit the cervix, or being near it would cause contractions?

Please tell me I’m being stupid if that is the case, thanks!
