Gestational diabetes anyone?

Anyone else diagnosed with gestational diabetes? I have an apt next tuesday with a nutritionist. This is my third child and first time diagnosed with it.

Yes, I was diagnosed early in pregnancy. They will just have you monitor your blood sugar (likely 4 times a day) and the nutritionist will help you understand what foods to eat and what foods to avoid. 
I test my blood sugar 4 times a day and I am on insulin (long lasting) at night before bed. (48 units)
Fasting (first morning test) should be 95 or less
One hour after eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner should be 140 or less
Avoid going longer than 8 hours without eating... snack (healthy - protein & good carbs) between meals.

Just got diagnosed. Still having morning sickness and carbs settle my stomach so this is gonna be annoying.  But we're getting to end and we can do it.

Here here! Going on week 3 & almost 31w. It’s not as bad as I expected it to be. The finger pricks still sting but it’s what’s best for babe. I’ve found white bread and I don’t get along but if I’m careful about what I eat I’ve had no problem controlling through diet so far. 
I test 4x a day, when I first get up, and an hour after every meal, fasting has to be 95 or under, after meals has to be 140 or under. 
My dietician gave me carb counts of 30-40 breakfast, 40-45 lunch, 40-50 dinner, and under 20 for snacks. I usually only have one snack on top of meals unless it’s a long day. But my carb counts usually stay well below recommendations. Everything in moderation and watching for what can spike you. Burger buns have spiked me, but a bun less burger with fries I do fine with.  Just watch your serving sizes and carb counts. You got this mama!

I was diagnosed with it a couple of weeks ago. Same thing, third baby first time having GD. They put me on a GD diet/meal plan and I have to test my blood sugar 4 times a day.
