Enema??

Question

I’m soo constipated. 
I took 2 stool softeners yesterday and they did nothing. 
I’ve never taken an enema, do you think that would be more helpful?! The pills did nothing 😩

I would recommend taking a laxative first. Enemas are kind of the last resort when nothing else is working. You can also try a glycerin suppository. I’d also recommend taking a stool softener daily to keep you regular.

absolutely. just use maybe half the bottle. enemas are like an anal douche.... it’ll make you have to go within 1-5 minutes. lay on your right side with your left knee close to your chest. works for me every time and i can take laxatives on laxatives and still not go. i hope this helps!!!

You have to start  taking the stool softners everyday to be effective.  I have been on them since 12weeks and they help so much. If I forget to take thrmiget constipated
