Is my blood pressure high?

I'm 27 weeks pregnant I just took my blood pressure and it's 175/61. Is this considered normal since the bottom number isn't high? I do know I'm very high risk

Thank you. I wasn't sure and I'd really hate to get preeclampsia this time around again. My main concern is that they will try to bed rest me if I do go in. I have 6 kids and a house to take care of so I can't afford to get on bed rest.

You should call your dr. The top number shouldn’t go so high even if bottom is low. Keep recheckingv

I’m sorry I commented while reading your top number wrong. 175 is high. I don’t get concerned until 160 but my bp is naturally high during pregnancy so that my doctor visit but if they haven’t specified to you and you have no history... let them know you’re coming in just to monitor.

You should go to L&D. Anything about 140 for the top or 95 for the bottom is too high. Doesn’t have to be both.
