It was Thursday Sep.26.19 and it was raining all day. My boyfriend, Scott was having his parents in town to celebrate him graduating school, we planned on going out to dinner to a really nice steak house. We went shopping for dresses months before and he pick me out THE PERFECT dress!

So I get home from work and start getting ready. The whole time I’m doing my makeup I keep hearing him go on the patio and say to himself “it’s not raining any more” he seriously did this like 5 times and I thought it was so goofy but didn’t think much about it. When I was done getting ready I walked out and he was passed out on the couch, so I wake him up and scurry our the door.

We get to his parents air bNb and it’s so nice my jaw drops! His mom greets us at the door and grabs my hand and says “you have to check out this back yard!” So I put my purse down and followed.

Waiting for me in the backyard was a walkway full of rose petals coming to one giant heart made of blue, purple,and white rose petals. With balloons all over the place! His mom places me in the middle of the heart and I turn around to scott is getting down on one knee.

He says beautiful things to me and asks me to marry him!

So of course I say yes!! I was so focused on what was going on at that moment I didn’t even realize all the people standing in front of me! My cousin and her husband, his parents, his sister, my parents, my childhood best friend, and all our closest friends we made back home (moved out of state 2 years ago)

I am so excited to marry my best friend!

I love life right now and my heart is so full from seeing my friends and family! I’m one lucky and extremely happy girl!
