My fiancé and I will be getting married in the summer of next year and I can’t decide if I want to take his last name or hyphenate our names. My fiancé told me he would be happy with either but he’d like me to choose. (If I decide to hyphenate he said he wanted to as well then) I’ve always loved my last name and feel like I might miss it if I choose to take only his name but I know hyphenating can be a hassle. Could you ladies help me with some pros and cons of either choice? Thanks in advance!!

- oh! And also neither of us have long last names so if we hyphenated it would only be 10 characters including the hyphen!
