So I’m 9DPO and got this morning what looks like a positive test. I’m due to go for a scan of my urinary tract in 12 days.. my question is can I still go for this scan? Secondly will they see the pregnancy? My mother in law is coming and not sure we would want to announce the pregnancy so soon... thoughts?

About the scan, call your OB/gyn and ask. If you don’t have one yet you can always call the place you’re getting the scan or the doctor who ordered it. If they say they don’t want to do it anymore just tell your MIL that they cancelled for whatever reason. And if they don’t cancel it, unless you need a driver after you can go alone and still tell her they cancelled. A little white lie but no one will care.
