The month of October is so bitter sweet. On the 10th it’s mine and my husbands 12 year anniversary. We are high school sweet hearts. 22nd will be our 3 year wedding anniversary. Now the bitter On the 12th of October Charlotte would have turned one. That’s just crazy to me. I’ve got a 7month old son!

I miss her so much and think about her every single day. Anencephaly is one of the cruelest things ever. It took my daughter and my ability to believe in higher powers. I always wonder who she would have looked like and what she would have enjoyed as well as what she would have done when she finished school. How many kids she would have. Instead I have a few scans of her and broken dreams.
