Did counseling/therapy help

Question

I had an abortion and I have been having a very hard time dealing with it. For those of you that had an abortion and went to counseling or therapy, did it help at all?

I had extensive child-bereavement therapy for a year. It got a lot worse before it got better, I am still suffering but I am coping on a day to day basis. 
I am also a sufferer of anxiety, depression and PTSD as a result of my termination and the circumstances around it.

It’s been almost 2 years since my abortion and I just started therapy in August. I was diagnosed with PTSD but I’m already having much improvement! It helped me so much honestly. It’s pretty costly for me for I don’t regret it. It’s helped me coped with so many of my feeling. I feel like within a few months I won’t even need it anymore

I had mine 8 years ago and never went to therapy.
It was painful physically and emotionally though.. I  pretty much hid it from everyone and it took about a month for me to finally get over it...I chock it up to hormones trying to get back to normal..that's what makes it difficult at first.
I don't regret my decision though and would do it again if needed.
