Do you regret getting an abortion?

I’m weighing my options right now, and I’m unsure. There are selfish reasons that I don’t want a baby right now, but in the back of my mind I wonder if I will regret not going through with the pregnancy

Your reasons aren’t selfish. This is about your life and what is best for you. That’s okay! I had an abortion at 28 after having 2 kids. I was not in a good place to have another child then. I am now pregnant and have zero regrets with the abortion.

Nope. I don’t regret mine at all. Everyone does process the feelings differently however. I have never wanted children. I felt no attachment what so ever. And actually having it have just been unnecessary medical bills I would never be able to afford for a child I did not want. Not fair to me or the future child.

Sometimes I do, but who knows I may have regretted becoming a parent at a young age as well and deep down I am confident I made the right choice, and if I would like to become a parent again in the future when I'm stable, I have that option to. Just because I do sometimes regret it, doesn't mean it wasn't the best decision for me.

The only way you’d regret it is if you weren’t sure you wanted to do it or it wasn’t your decision. Make sure it’s your decision and you won’t regret it. Grief and regret are different

I just had a surgical abortion today and I am extremely sad but I don’t regret it. Having another baby right now wouldn’t have been good.

Yes and no. I regret it because I mean, it was something growing inside of me with a heartbeat. I wanted to provide for it I really did, but I mentally, emotionally and financially couldn’t. I don’t regret it because I know that the baby would not have been born into ideal circumstances. I already have an 11 month old and I’m currently not in the best relationship right now. It’s honestly up to you and I really suggest thinking over your circumstances and whether abortion or adoption would be the best choice for you. Good luck ❤️
