Alright so, I’m in the army, currently in ait training. I had a boyfriend before I left, we had sex and that was it. Broke up. Went to basic training. Now I’m just in my head, at ait trying to find myself a new man, but I’m nervous. Like most females who went through basic, I didn’t shave down there. The entire time. Now I’m here and figured I’d start hacking at the bush. I had no scissors so I just went at it with a razor. I didn’t even make it smooth. I just thinned everything out. Some bumps are there and somehow in my head I think they could be an std? It’s only on the top part, they are small, and my only theories are heat rash(cause we always are outside sweating and have to stay in our sweaty clothes) or it could be ingrown hair, or herpes. I know extreme. They are just small little bumps, I could even pick two off them off. And Right before I left I had a yeast infection, and I’m pretty sure they did a std test too, just can’t find it in my online documents. i was fine tho, took the meds. And I think they test you for herpes when you join but idk. My real question is, if I wanted to, how would I go about getting tested discreetly? I only have 8 weeks left of training, I’m in the hardest company rn and I don’t need to go to a drill with a sickcall slip saying that’s what I’m going in for. Or I’m waiting til my Christmas leave to deal with it. I just need to talk to someone who understands. Please help lol. Yes I’m young.
