Newborn flying to Japan

So we're moving to Japan with husband but we just had a baby. Literally, 4 days ago. Obviously too early to fly a plane, husband will be over there this week already and we are to follow when baby is good to go. We'll be speaking to the pediatrician today but would like some input. Anybody fly with baby to Japan before? How old was baby? How many hours was it? What shots did baby have?
