I’ve been working at hooters for a few months now and I’m just curious on why some people are so judgemental about it?

I have family members who are disappointed in me that I work at hooters. It really hurts my feelings. And if I’m asked where I work and I say hooters it’s like immediate judgement. Sometimes families that come in, the wife or girlfriends are very mean to us.

Why is it that so many people think of us hooters girls as “whores” or that we have no class, etc...?
