How to relieve sore nipples

I’m exclusively pumping right now since my LO won’t latch on yet ( he was in NICU and started with bottles)... my nipples are so tender. I put on nipple cream before and after. Any other remedies that’ll work to relieve the soreness ? I use the Lansinoh pump. I do small settings first , I was increasing the suction before but I can’t anymore because they’re so sore. The flanges that we’re sent I’m not sure on the size it doesn’t say.
