Are you talking engagement like marriage proposal? I'm not sure what the issue is. I've been with my boyfriend for over 5 years and we are having a child in a few weeks. We've been talking about marriage but I'm not even worried if there is a proposal. It's not really important. Us being happy together is what is important.
