C-section mamas - no shaving?!

My first son was an unplanned urgent c-section so this is kinda new to me. I scheduled my second one and got a message to say no shaving legs/armpits/down there for 4 WEEKS prior to the c-section! 
Not sure how to handle not shaving the armpits for so very very long!! 😫 (can’t reach the other stuff anyway!)

Haha, that's crazy. My csection packet said do not shave or wax after 36 weeks of the pubic area. I can shave my underarms and legs, I don't know what hospital you are having your at, but that is definitely crazy. Talk to your Dr about that, that doesn't sound right.

It’s normal to not be able to shave leading up to surgery. Any nick or cut can introduce an infection of any sort, which is why they ask that you avoid it.

Odd. I shaved down there night before my second. With my first they shaved me and I was so embarrassed. I’m delivering at a different hospital this time and it says to check with my doctor.

I’m having a scheduled csection and all my paper work says is to not shave the surgical area by myself that they will do it when I’m being prepped 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I shaved the morning of my last c section (3 years ago) and haven’t heard otherwise this time around both were scheduled I’m 34 weeks
So I guess there is still time for them to tell me
