My husband wants to go to his brothers birthday party and take our 6 week old baby. They live 2.5 hours away. Round trip 5 hours... I think this is too long of a trip for a newborn and I’m not comfortable with it! He doesn’t agree. I read that babies shouldn’t be in a car seat longer than 2 hours. Am I being overprotective? I told him he should go but leave the baby home with me.
