So my husband does not change any diapers, or basically help at all, he works and I stay at home, so I don't really complain about it too much or about the housework, however, just because he has a job, I don't think that's an excuse. My grandpa and grandma raised me, my grandpa worked nights and days, he would still take care of me, he sometimes didn't sleep for days. My husbands dad says he won't change a diaper because my child is a girl and people get accused of stuff, my husband use to use that as an excuse then changed it to work, I recently had foot surgery and had to stay with my grandpa so he could help take care of my daughter, which he did, fantastically, he changed her diaper, got her her medicine, fed her, bathed her, put her to sleep, all things my husband has never done and knows nothing about how to do. I guess I'm basically wondering if my grandpa is just wonderful or if my husband is just making excuses not to fucking help. My daughter is 2 by the way, I've been doing this all by myself for two years, and my husband asks why I'm always crabby or not in the mood.
