My original due date was November 20th but I was diagnosed with Vasa Previa around 20 weeks so I had to have a scheduled c section on October 9th!

The delivery went smoothly but as soon as I got to the PICU, I started hemorrhaging pretty badly. The room quickly turned frantic. It was an all hands on deck situation. I was shaking profusely, I lost all color in my skin, I started vomiting all over myself, and my blood pressure shot over 200. I had to have a blood transfusion and received two units of blood. Thankfully the doctors were able to get it under control. It was the scariest moment of my life but it was all worth it. I have two beautiful and healthy little girls!
