My baby was born full term at 39+5 and weighed 6lb 8oz and at her 2month checkup she was 9lbs exactly. But the doctor said she’s not gaining enough weight for her age and he told us to come back in 2 weeks to see where she’s at. She was all so 18 inches at birth and she’s almost 22 inches now. Idk she healthy and meeting all her milestones(some super early) everything seemed fine to me but I’m not a doctor. What do you guys think? Is the doctor right should i be considered about her weight. Also me and her dad are both small. I’m 5’2 and hes 5’5. And his mom said he was tiny just like her when he was little so maybe she gets it from him. They also changed my due date while i was pregnant saying she was measuring really small then too. They said i looked a week off. But i think she’s just going to be tiny like her parents.
