Why is my milk so thin?

Even if I pump off and on for an hour to completely empty, my milk still looks like skim milk. Any tips?

Eat more healthy fats. Your may have a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, which can happen when you pump rather than nurse. The fattier hindmilk comes after the foremilk. Babies are more efficient at getting the fattier milk and it’s important for them to get they that type of milk to help them gain weight and help overall brain development. 
I had this issue with my second daughter since I mainly pumped with her. My daughter wasn’t gaining as she should and had greenish poop that wasn’t seedy (result of fattier milk) as it should be. I started eating a lot of healthier fats and would pump a lot of the foremilk out first and separate it from the fattier milk. It definitely helped.

Does it still look that way in the fridge after it's had time to separate?

Any milk is good milk! I had this as well but it didn’t affect her growth or anything. I used to be worried but after having several checkups and having good weight gain and her always being content I stopped worrying about it
