Belly getting smaller at 16 weeks?

So I'm 16 weeks and I noticed my belly got noticeably smaller instead of bigger? Is this something that is normal?

It could be that the bloating has gone down and now it's more of just baby. I didn't truly pop or show until 24w with my first and 22w Witt my second.

Depending on when the photos were taken and babys position could be why it looks smaller. If you've eaten or have any bloating it will look bigger than if you haven't. It also depends on if baby is pushing out or not. I'm 28 weeks and sometimes my belly still looks smaller than other days because of bloating and babys position :) nothing to worry about mama.

Bloating went down or baby moved positions. Most likely bloating because baby isn’t really big enough to cause much of a bump yet. My belly completely disappeared at 26w and it was just because she moved positions. A week later I was back to feelin huge lol

Baby’s position can determine how your belly looks. I’m almost 37 weeks and my belly looks A LITTLE bit smaller now because she has dropped.. Your belly will change shape and size a lot throughout pregnancy.
