Possible labor soon?

37.5 weeks pregnant, my OB wants him to come before 39 weeks due to him being giant. Hes been the size of a full term baby since 33 weeks 😳 lol. I've been having some crampy feelings on and off today but noticed my boobs look very very full and a few sizes bigger/ more plump than before. Could these be a sign labor might start soon?

They are almost always wrong about how big babies are. There is no way to truely weigh them until they are born.

My son was apparently over 10 pounds at 34 weeks. He came at 38.6 weeks and was only 8 lbs 13oz. The weights by ultrasound are just an estimate. And the doctor should also know that big babies aren't a reason for induction or C-section. Unless there's issues once in active labor but there's numerous factors that could have nothing to do with the baby's weight.

My son was between 7-8 pounds the morning he was born at my appointment. that evening when he was born, he weighed 10 pounds 6 ounces.
