Depends when your testing. If your testing before AF a digital wont be as reliable. If your testing 14dpo or over. Any test will do.

I've only ever gotten positives on cheap tests. Apparently I'm only pregnant when I either don't think I am (and so don't feel like spending money on the "good" tests) or when I'm just plain broke.
Digital tests tend to require more HCG so you need to be slightly farther along to get a positive, but there's no doubt about a positive result.

Nope blue dye wasn’t worth it for me. Got my first positive on a first response.

Dollar Tree assured brand are the best hands down. Cheap and reliable!

Digitals require more hcg hormone for a positive result than a cheap or FRER pink dye, so you could get a negative result with one but actually be pregnant. Blue dyes and Walgreens brand give false positives or are hard to read. I recommend clincalguard test strips from amazon. Or just buying First response early result if you’re testing within two days of or after your missed period.

With both pregnancies I used some cheap ones at first and once I was sure I was pregnant I used a clearblue digital, simply because I loved seeing the word "pregnant" spelled out! 😅

Honestly I buy the cheap test strips. I was doing some research and they are just as good and wont cost you an arm and a leg. You can always get a digital test once you have your positive on one of the cheapies.
