Baby behind in clothes sizes?!?

So my son is almost 6 months and still wears 3 month and even some 0-3 month clothes.. He was full term and is right on track in growth (other than being a little short). I'm so confused?🙃🤔 Has anyone else experienced this??

I think it depends on where u buy because all these places fit different.

I have experienced the very opposite, my 5 month old baby boy is a chunka chunka and is in size 6-9/9! All babies are different shaped regardless of weight. For example, he is the average weight, but his height and how the body has distributed his weight is different than others!

Not quite that small, but my daughter didn’t move up to 3-6 month clothes until she was almost 5 months old. She measures in the 25th percentile weight wise. The clothes are based on averages, some babies are smaller than others.

My son is 5months and completely skipped 6-9 and is in 9-12m clothing! Some designer bits are 12-18m😳

My LO is 5 months tomorrow and still fits 0-3 month clothes as long as there are no feet. She’s 25th percentile weight and 40th height. What gets me chocked up is putting away her preemie and newborn clothes that she’ll never wear again 😢

My daughter just started wearing 3-6 month clothes when she turned 6 months, moved up to 6-9 month clothes when she was 9 months old, etc. She was just a really petite baby. Now she’s three and a half and tall for her age. Kids just grow weird sometimes 🤷‍♀️

Don’t worry about it. Baby is fine but a bit short. My first born is a shorty. He got to actually wear out some of his clothes before moving up to the next size. My baby girl is super big and barely gets to wear the clothes she has. She’s now in 9 month jammies and is moving up to 6-9 month clothes because she’s so tall.

Lots of places have different sizing for the same age. My LO is 5 months and the 0-3 months would still fit him if I needed but he’s on 3-6 months ones now and they’re all loose and stuff but it’s all okay. As long as baby is healthy and growing and meeting mile stones at their own pace you’re all good.
