Can anyone tell me what an anatomy scan involves?

Its done 18 to 20 weeks chech all organs, bones, geowth make sure baby is healthy and find out gender

It involves pointing out and measuring all the major anatomy bits of baby. So it’s more in-depth then other scans. Like looking at the heart and heart chambers, bladder, head and brain chambers, spine, fingers/toes etc. it’s awesome. I loved it.

It’s done between 18-23 weeks ideally. They check baby’s organs in depth, looking at kidney and heart function as well as bone and brain development. Basically making sure that everything vital for life outside the womb is working well. You’ll get lots of pictures and they also often tell you gender at that point.

Make sure everything is good and baby is growing correctly. They take a lot of pictures of everything. You can also find out the gender.
