Dreamfeeding in crib?

How do you dreamfeed and burp in a crib? 
First of all the leaning over kills my back and then I have to pick her up to burp her because I'll get a good one usually and that always wakes her up which makes the dream feeding pointless....

I thought dream feeding was just not turning on lights/sounds or stimulating baby during a feed and putting straight back to bed - but you can absolutely hold baby while feeding. Otherwise, breastfeeding mother's wouldn't be able to dreamfeed.

So I dream feed at about 10:30. He is in a bassinet with the lights off and a sound machine on. When I go into feed, I’ll pick him up, feed, burp and put back to sleep. During the whole process his eyes are closed. I keep the sound machine on and use a flashlight so I can see but he isn’t effected by light.

You need to pick them up so their head is above their stomach, you shouldn’t do it lying down
