Do I have to get IVs?

Does morning sickness always result in having to get an IV? How do I know when I'm dehydrated and to get one my friend talks about how she always had to get them and I've never ??

Regular morning sickness isn’t going to make you dehydrated. It’s usually women that have severe non stop sickness - Hyperemesis gravidarum. Just try to stay hydrated and eat what you can and you’ll be fine.

You will know. When you are vomiting all day and not keeping down fluids or you just feel really weak and can’t get out of bed or off the couch. For me I knew to go because I was always lightheaded and have no energy to move

Not always i had 2 but i was very dehydrated and was feeling like crap and almost fainted . You just need to drink sips amd sips of water all day and night .
