Doty think you should have to provide your parents income?

I am so frustrated because I am trying to get some type of financial aid to help me with school and I can’t fill out for FASFA because I don’t have my parents tax information. I have been on my own since I graduated high school at 17. I have my own place and I pay my own bills and taxes. I hate that they require you to have goer information for YOU to get some if and if you don’t they will offer student loans 😑😑.

Do you think it’s fair that the government will not give you financial aid without your parents information if you are over 18?
