Question

I ovulate around 9/10 days before my expected period, I know this because of symptoms and I got pregnant once 9 days before my period (only time I had sex that cycle)
I read in a forum that to keep the pregnancy, you have to ovulate at least 10 days before your expected period for the hormone levels to be high enough.
Is this true?? Because I did end up losing my baby a few days after my positive test, and I did conceive 9 days before my period. 
Has anyone heard anything? How on earth am I ever supposed to stay pregnant if this is true? Thank you!

Well, just because you ovulated later during that cycle does not mean you ALWAYS ovulate later. Its possible your period wouldn’t have actually been due 9 days later, if you ovulated late. 
For example: you normally ovulate on cd 14 and your period is due 14 days later. However, the cycle you conceived, you happened to ovulate on cd 19, then your period would STILL be due 14 days later (not 9). It would extend your cycle. Make sense? 
Unless you are tracking with (ideally) bbt or at least opks, and you are doing it routinely to track cycles, then you don’t know that you genuinely have a short luteal phase. But if you find that you routinely actually have a short luteal phase (less than 10 days), then you should talk with your doctor.

I ovulate around then and have 4 kids. But you should use a clear blue ovulation kit to truly know your ovulation time.
