I'm 38+6 right now. It wasn't our original plan but the closer and closer our due date creeps the more appealing the idea of not having visitors at the hospital is becoming. This is our baby #2 and I remember being slightly overwhelmed with the amount of people visiting with baby #1. We already plan to do the golden hour and a private introduction for our LO to meet his little sister but I'm seriously considering just having no visitors at the hospital at all. We will probably have some SERIOUS push back to that decision though. I think part of it is just me being ready to be done being pregnant and tired of having everyone bugging me about when the baby is coming, how I'm feeling, blah blah blah. Idk 🤷 I'm seriously grumpy and these last couple weeks have been HARD.
