My son is due the end of November, and I’ve scheduled his Baptism for December 22nd. Partly for tradition, partly because a Christmas baptism sounds beautiful. While I’m not necessarily devout, I do love the idea of celebrating his baptism when we celebrate the birth of Christ.

But now I’m second guessing myself. Will I want him in public at 4-5 weeks?

But I’m probably going to have to go food shopping in that time, too, take him to doctors, etc.

Can some mommies help with a little insight? Should I push it back to Spring, or am I okay having it at Christmas?
