Ovulating at different times?!?!

How come some months I ovulate earlier than others? The latest I’ve had a positive opk is cd16 and earliest cd9.. is that normal? Can someone also explain to me what day your egg white cm starts? Is it when your fertile window starts or only the day you ovulate? Thank you!!!

Our bodies don’t follow the same calendar we do. 
Our calendar was created over a millennia ago. Our bodies are the same for over 10.000 years. 
Yes it is normal to ovulate on different cycle days. 
Cm is not a reliable method to pinpoint ovulation. 
Some women are super dry and conceived without a problem. 🙋🏻‍♀️
So if you have egg white cm, good. If you don’t, no worries, you can still get pregnant. 
If you have egg white cm it may appear any time during your fertile window.
