So yesterday my OB said the hospital will call us today ( Tuesday) or early wednesay morning when to come in ( on Wednesday ) to start my induction.

I had the greatest sleep last night. Knowing the end is in sight.

My husband and I finished our basement this year. And although we had things like TV. Furniture. Fireplace etc I haven’t had the time to go get pillows or throws or put pictures up etc.

So. Today. My SUPER pregnant body decided. We’re going shopping 😂.

I came home with 3 bags of shit. Washed all the throws in delicious little baby laundry soap, Cut the tags off all the pillows and made a picture frame wall.

My husband comes downstairs and goes “ you have been on mat leave for a few weeks and TODAY a week plus over due you decide to extreme home makeover our basement” 🤪!!!

I just decided it’s now or literally never and I couldn’t sit home waiting for a call all day. Plus it’s where we are gonna hang out when people come to meet baby !

I feel like a weirdo but I also feel proud of myself for just getting it done amongst other things today. Was fearing induction but now just looking forward to meeting our child and thankful for these extra few days to get prepared 🙏🏼!
