Where did you install your rear facing carseat in a car?

Our vehicle manual says behind passenger seat as well- I’d check that out in addition to the car seat manual. Your local fire department might install them for free as well.

Middle back, only bc my 19 month old is behind the driver. And I have a 9 year old.

With one I did middle back. With 2 I’ve got the littler babe behind passenger and older behind driver. With this third my oldest is going way back behind passenger, baby is going behind passenger in 1st row and middle kid is behind driver.

My car doesn't allow middle seat instalment. So to make it as easy as possible to get baby in and out I placed the seat behind the passenger. I drive a tiny french three door car.

It really depends on the car seat. Typically in the installation instructions it'll tell you where it's best suited. I had heard the back middle as well but our carseat specifically says back passenger side.
