Baby #2?

Question

For all the FTM’s is anyone thinking about baby #2 yet? I want my children to be close in age but all I think about is child care & not being able to care for both babies as I would want as I have to go back to work & want to spend time & see them grow.
For mama’s with more children what is it like? Any advice is appreciated.

My doctor said to wait about 6 months just to give my body a break and try to lose some of the baby weight. We would like our kids to be close in age too so we are planning to start trying again maybe around June-July of next year.

Mine are 19 months apart. It's wonderful and hard and frustrating and amazing all at once. I've been thinking about when we might want to have #3 already. That said, I'm not sure I'd want to plan to do this again. We just don't have any family anywhere near us (closest is 8+ hour drive, most are on the opposite coast (US)) and even friends are all about an hour away. It would be easier with a support system close by, but we don't anticipate that being possible any time soon, if ever. So I'm thinking maybe when #2 is between 2&3 to have baby 3

My girls are 22 and a half months apart. My 2 year old is so sweet with baby sis for the most part. She does get a little frustrated with me when she wants to play with me and the baby is cluster feeding, but overall she’s too young to really be jealous of her. And it’s going to be great when they can actually play with each other. But, boy was it rough being pregnant and caring for a toddler. I had awful morning sickness until about 16 weeks, and then from 28 weeks on I had bad pelvic pain and of course my daughter is a runner. I think the first week home with both girls was the roughest. My eldest is a real mommy’s girl, so when she would cry cause she wanted to be held, but baby was eating it broke my heart. And the diapers 🙄, I feel like that’s all I do. And as far as working goes, I’m a dental hygienist. I decided before we even had our first that I would cut down my days to only 3 a week and it’s been the best for us. Although I’m sad to already be back, but I just tell myself it’s only 3 days and power through. As difficult as it is to have 2 littles, I know they will be best friends! But, if we have a 3rd, there’s going to be a 3 year gap 🤣

My first baby is 8 weeks old today! My husband and I talked about not having anymore children during my last trimester and for about a month after she was born, but now that we're kind of getting the hang of things, we've started talking about a second baby. 
Realistically, we'd like a 2 year gap in between them, but my hormones are so crazy right now that I'm getting baby fever from my own baby! I'm already coming up with a name list for this baby #2 that doesn't even exist yet 😂

My kids are 22 months apart. I think it’s a great age gap for them. My son loves his little sister and they’re still close enough that he won’t remember not having her around. There’s very little jealousy or competition. As they grow, they’ll have more and more in common. However, I do feel like I haven’t really had my own body to myself for the past 2+ years. I weaned my son only a couple months before I got pregnant with my daughter.

My girls are 26 months apart and I feel that is a perfect age gap for our family! My older daughter is a great help and fully understands what’s going on which is helpful. We were still in “baby mode” so nothing is coming to us as a shock this second time around. I know friends who have had their babies one year apart and they seem happy. It’s what’s best for your family! 💗

My husband talked about it the other night. My doctor recommended waiting two years after my c section, though.
