When did you put your child in his/her own room at night in their crib?

My babe is 3 months and I just started putting her in her own room because she’s rolling and getting too big for basinet. I’m sleeping better and so is she but I still worry a little because the AAP recommends first year keeping them in your own room.

The first night they came home from the hospital. My sons pediatrician agreed with it. We also had Owlet and other monitors

I waited until they were one because of the recommendations and I'm severely paranoid about SIDS.

7 months for my first, 8 months for my second and my third is 11 months and in his crib but still in my bedroom. He my last baby and I can’t bear to part with him. 😭

We started at 5 weeks because no one was sleeping well and wow what a difference! The first few nights were hard for me because I was checking the monitor every 5 minutes but now sleeping much more. We also have the owlet

2.5 weeks. I was worried at first and had the monitor on. Now I just dread hearing him cry through the walls 😂

We kept him in our room the first 3 months and then his own room/crib ... I think it helped us sleep train doing it that way

I am trying to transition my daughter now at 5 months. It’s definitely hard as they get older. I’m struggling. She wants no part of it but she sleeps terribly in my room and we always have to be quiet and even tip toeing seems to wake her.

My first son was six months. My son now is 3 months and hes not great at sleeping through the night yet so I want to wait till hes better so hes not waking up my 2 year old constantly .
