Apartment help?

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if I’m posting in the correct group, so sorry in advance. I live in the West Chicagoland area and I was wondering if anyone had any leads on apartments that don’t do credit checks. The apartment would be for my boyfriend(20), son (3), and I(21). We both work, him mornings and me evenings. He simply doesn’t have credit and my credit took a hit when I couldn’t work for 6 months due to a broken ankle ( I can provide a medical note if needed). We have no one to co sign since it’s his problem according to his mom and my parents being dead (don’t want to do go into detail about other family members and their reasoning for no, unless I have to). I have checked every site that you can find apartments on. Thank you in advance!
