Baby K'tan help

I've just tried out my Baby K'tan for the first time today. Babe seems too low compared to all of the instructional pictures and videos. I've read you should be able to kiss their head easily and I really need to stretch to reach him. He seems a little scrunched up, albeit sleeping in it contently right now.

I'm not sure if this is a sizing issue or I'm just needing practice with positioning?

Any K'tan mamas out there with any suggestions?
