Dark skin?? Remedies??

So on my inner thighs, private area, armpits, and my elbows are all dark in color. I was wondering if any of you have had this problem and if you found anything to lighten it. I’m very insecure about it. I feel like it’s gross looking. It had no odor or anything I just don’t like the way it looks.
